Deep black smoke covers the nine worlds as the Ragnarök rages. One might think that our whisky barrel-aged Imperial Stout has already lived through the twilight of the Gods; The peaty smoke taste is accompanied by dark chocolate, cherry and red berries that resonates profoundly.

This variety of flavours is no coincidence as the beer was stored for more than half a year in a sherry barrel, which was then filled by La Famiglia Nostra with a very peaty Bunnahabhain (Staoisha) whisky. The interplay of brewing, wood, sherry, Islay whisky and patience makes this beer a unique taste experience.

La Famiglia Nostra has made it its business to further refine and finish the finest whiskies, preferably Scottish single malts. The editions of LFN are so small that these unique, refined whiskies are usually only given to the Famiglia and good friends. They rarely reach the regular trade and hardly ever online. This is the second time that the Wacken Brewery has collaborated with the guys from LFN, marrying a suitable cask with the right beer.

This beer creation is limited to just 1200 bottles!
