Roman Belt Buckle for Cingulum, Brass

This handsome belt buckle for a Roman legionary's cingulum or balteus is inspired by finds from the 1st century A.D. and cast from 2 mm thick brass. As the hinged chape has no holes, mounting it to a belt will require drilling.

The brass buckle is perfectly suited for your own DIY project or as a replacement/spare buckle for Roman belts. It combines particularly well with our Vindonissa pugio frog (Product No. 1616757100) and our she-wolf belt plate (Product No. 1616757300). Mounting hardware is not included in delivery.

An ideal accessory for Roman re-enactment.
