Bascinet with Klappvisor, 2 mm steel - battle ready-
Fully battle-ready reconstruction of a late medieval bascinet of the 14th Century with removable Klappvisor.The bascinet evolved in the early 14th Century from the cervelliere and was usually worn together with a chain mail shirt.This version has a Klappvisor which can be locked at the sides with a hook but can also be completely removed.
Both halves are handmade from 2mm thick steel and welded.The helmet is battle-ready. Bascinets should be donned from the back.
A high-class riveted and adjustable leather inlay is included.
Available in sizes S and M.
