Galerus, Gladiator's Shoulder Guard, Brass

Shoulder pauldrons began to be used by gladiators in the 1st century AD. The pauldron was called a galerus in ancient Rome and was sometimes richly decorated.

Our replica has two leather straps with which the pauldron can be attached to both the neck and arm.
