The non-returning boomerang, also called throwing stick, has been used on every continent since time immemorial and is still found in use as hunting tool in isolated pockets around the globe even today. Today, itis most closely associated with Australia, where many original inhabitants (Aborigines) still possess the knowledge and skills to use it for the hunt.
