Bellows Face Sallet, ca. 1490, 2 mm steel - battle ready-
Authentic and fully battle-ready reconstruction of a late medieval sallet, probably crafted by North Italian armourers around 1490 A.D.This helmet differs from other sallets due to the very unique shape of its visor, the so called bellows-face visor.
This helmet is made from 2 mm sheet steel and was hand-chased. It features a hinged visor made from 1.6 mm steel.
Delivery includes a leather chin strap and a top grade adjustable padded liner fixed with rivets.
This model is available in sizes M and L.
